Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract with a client in Hamilton Township, NJ (Hybrid).

Rate Range: $45/hour to $56/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document functional requirements related to financial products, trading systems, and payment platforms.
• Drive testing activities by coordinating calls with multiple stakeholders and preparing test plans and strategies.
• Derive use cases from business requirements to support development and QA teams.
• Report and triage defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Support Agile processes by actively participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of total IT experience, with strong exposure to financial domains.
• Deep domain knowledge in Trading, Payments, or Advisory systems.
• Strong ability to lead testing efforts, prepare test strategies, and manage defect triage across stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Details: $45.00 to $56.00 per hour.

Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan. Associates may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or any other paid leave required by law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
