Akkodis group is hiring: Manufacturing Engineer in Maple Grove

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract with a client in Maple Grove, MN (Hybrid). Candidates must have experience with polymer manufacturing technologies and working in a regulated industry to be considered.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production to support new product introductions and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues by applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all manufacturing activities.
• Create and maintain documentation such as work instructions, process validations, and engineering change orders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• Typically, 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Must have worked in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices or pharmaceuticals, with strong documentation and compliance skills.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour.
