TEKsystems is hiring: It Support Technician in Temple

Overview

Our Client is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated IT Support Contractor to provide on-site technical support and serve as an IT liaison within correctional medical clinics located in Gatesville, TX. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work across multiple locations and prefer a dynamic work environment over a traditional desk job. Veterans transitioning from military service are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support within correctional medical clinics.
• Serve as an IT liaison across multiple locations.
• Perform desktop and network troubleshooting, and assist with system administration from a Helpdesk/Active Directory perspective as needed.
• Assist with cabling and physical hardware setup, including CAT5/CAT6 cables and fiber termination where required.

Qualifications

• Desktop & Network Troubleshooting Experience (5+ years)
• Knowledge in System Administration from a Helpdesk/Active Directory standpoint (2-5 years)
• Experience with Cabling & Physical Hardware Setup (CAT5/CAT6, Fiber termination)

Pay and Benefits

• Pay range: $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
