We are seeking a Software Engineer to support Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (AF TENCAP) prototyping efforts. This role involves full spectrum of Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) software development services, focusing on rapid prototype development and integration to meet emergent RDT&E requirements of AF TENCAP, its Space Force partners, and stakeholders.

As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with software developers, systems, and software engineers to deliver rapid, innovative, and cost-effective capabilities across all warfighting domains. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging application software. You will analyze systems, collaborate with subject matter experts, and work on electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, and reporting. End products may include autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs. You will determine user needs, analyze system capabilities, resolve problems, and prepare operating instructions.

The salary range for this role is $126,000 to $170,000 annually. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, education, and certifications.

Required Qualifications:

• 9 years of technical experience
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting mission applications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python
• Experience in prototyping efforts
• In-scope DoD Secret security clearance
• ABET-accredited MS or PhD
• Experience with web service data formats and development
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and Commercial Cloud Services
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
