Job Description
The position of Residential Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the Residence Hall Director.
Primary Responsibilities
As an Administrative Assistant, you will:
Support the day-to-day operations of University Housing and the residence hall you are assigned to
Perform routine key audits and verify/update resident key logs
Conduct routine building walks of the residence hall you are assigned to and monitor the common areas for damaged or missing equipment and follow up with the appropriate party for resolution; submit Work Orders to TDG for completion
Provides clerical support, as needed, to the Residence Hall Director, such as helping sort mail and complete purchasing paperwork
Create and send promotional emails for upcoming programs to residents in the hall you are assigned to
Serve as a positive representative of University Housing
Assist with special projects
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
NKU undergraduate student
Enrolled in at least 12 credit hours
GPA of 2.5 (cumulative and semester)
Students
must
be responsible, respectful, dependable, accountable, teachable, and able to communicate effectively and professionally.
Desirable Qualifications:
Previous on-campus or other work experience
Demonstrated history of working independently
Customer service orientation
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Microsoft Office Suite
Maintenance request submission software(s)
Federal Work Study (FWS), Institutional Work Study (IWS), and International Students are welcome to apply.
