Acuity:
High acuity patients with ~1/3 daily turnover Tele Monitoring:
Phillips; RN must interpret EKGs Vents:
BiPAP/CPAP (patients must be able to self-manage) Hospital & Support
EMR:
Cerner Charge Nurse:
Yes, no patient load PCTs:
2 per shift IV Team:
SWAT RN available for difficult sticks RT & Pharmacy:
24/7 in-house Floating:
Required to float to any Med-Surg/Tele unit Scrub Color:
Navy blue Certifications & Requirements
Required:
BLS, ACLS Experience:
IV start competency required Must pass
dysrhythmia (DYS) exam prior to accepting
– 2 attempts only SIMs Lab (pass/fail)
on Day 1 orientation:
Foley insertion Central line dressing change (must maintain sterile field) Failing SIMs Lab = termination
Other Requirements:
Natural hair color only No facial piercings Men must be clean-shaven for N95 fit test Must have own vehicle (travel teams)

Weekend Requirement:
4 shifts per 4 weeks Holiday Requirement:
Must work
2 of 4 major holidays
(Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) Shift Time:
12-hour nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
