Reports to and takes direction from Manager of Success Coach Program. Working Hours and/or Working Conditions:
To be determined. Work hours will be based on college work-study funding. Scheduled work hours may not conflict with class hours. Position terminates at end of semester or when award is exhausted. Hours may not exceed 20 per week. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must provide extensive customer service with courtesy and concerned attention to individual needs. Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Good verbal and written communication skills.
Job Function Perform various clerical duties in support of full-time staff and the department for the semester. All qualified applicants meet the following criteria: - a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours -currently have a work-study award given by Financial Aid-- If you have not received an award or are not sure, fill out and submit this form and contact finaid@macomb.edu with questions. ***You will be marked DISQUALIFIED if you do not have a current award. *** Job Responsibilities General clerical duties including typing and answering phones Provide excellent customer service to students and staff Greet and properly direct students and staff to resources and support services May distribute mail and prepare mailings Assist in updating and managing the organization's various social media channels to help promote the Coaching program Create unique content for posting to social media and website Assist with department events including set up and take down of event materials and refreshments Maintain, organize and update reports that involve the scheduled events Assist with outreach activities Maintain unit confidentiality Perform other related duties as assigned Multi-lingual preferred but not required
Education High school graduate or GED equivalent. Some education including relevant course work and/or formal training preferred. This position is not eligible for benefits. 01
