Position Summary

The Surgery Coordinator coordinates and schedules surgical procedures, acting as a liaison between patients, surgeons, and other medical staff. They ensure all necessary arrangements are made for the surgery, including obtaining authorizations, scheduling pre-op appointments, and communicating with patients about pre-operative instructions. They also maintain patient records and collaborate with various departments within the external healthcare facility.
