OVERVIEW:
The Senior Multi-Media Developer will lead the design and development of interactive, visually engaging learning content and multimedia solutions. The Senior Multi-Media Developer combines technical expertise in programming, animation and graphic design with artistic creativity to produce innovative training materials that enhance learner engagement and deliver measurable business impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the design, development, and delivery of eLearning modules, simulations, interactive animations, and video-based training. Translate complex technical and business concepts into engaging multimedia learning experiences. Apply advanced programming skills (HTML5, JavaScript, SCORM/xAPI) to build, optimize, and troubleshoot interactive content. Develop high-quality graphics, infographics, and animations aligned with brand and instructional goals. Partner with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and business leaders to align solutions with learning objectives. Ensure usability, accessibility (ADA/WCAG compliance), and seamless integration of multimedia products into LMS and digital platforms. Create templates, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across multimedia deliverables. Conduct quality assurance reviews and testing of multimedia assets across multiple devices, browsers, and platforms. Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and design trends to continuously improve development practices. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors when outsourcing multimedia production. Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of multimedia learning content using learning analytics and feedback. Contribute to the strategic roadmap for multimedia innovation within the Learning & Development function. Provide creative direction and thought leadership on multimedia storytelling approaches that enhance knowledge retention. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Animation, Computer Science, or a related field. 10+ years of professional experience in multimedia development, animation, or eLearning design. Strong programming and technical skills (HTML5, JavaScript, SCORM/xAPI, LMS platforms). Expert proficiency in multimedia and graphic tools (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere, Blender, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.). Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar). Solid understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels. KEY RESULT AREAS:
