Our company is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about utilizing their Electrical Repair and Blueprint Reading skills to make a significant impact in energy production and management. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be integral to our operations, troubleshooting, and maintaining our electrical systems to ensure optimal operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Circuits wiring and drilling holes.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, including the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of these systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Outstanding physical condition and ability to work in different environments, including adverse weather conditions and at heights.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
• Experience with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
• Valid license to practice the profession.
