Staffmark is seeking a skilled and reliable Custodian to join a dedicated team in Saint Benedict, LA. If you have three years of custodian/janitorial experience, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive work environment with long-term potential.
Pay Rate: $17 - $20/hour (Depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming) in commercial areas
Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, including restocking and sanitizing
Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing
Assist with minor facility maintenance and equipment upkeep
Safely use and store cleaning supplies and respond to cleaning requests promptly
Work with team members to ensure areas meet cleanliness standards
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as custodian/janitorial
Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care processes (buffing/waxing) a plus
Ability to perform basic facility maintenance
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork abilities
