Staffmark is hiring a Materials Planner in Houston, TX. If you're experienced in supply chain coordination and ready to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect fit.
Pay: $22 - $25/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift
Responsibilities:
Release work orders according to the master production schedule
Ensure production lines are supplied and running efficiently
Collaborate with buyers to expedite material shortages
Coordinate with production teams to schedule and track WIP items
Expedite operations to resolve scheduling delays
Set Kanban stocking levels for raw materials and WIP parts
Review sales forecasts and communicate needs to buyers and manufacturing
Provide project status updates to supervisors and team leaders
Collaborate with plant and corporate personnel at all levels
Support additional tasks and work overtime as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - or 5+ years of manufacturing/materials planning experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office and MRP systems
Experience with Oracle and BOMs (Bills of Materials)
APICS certification preferred
Able to lift 25-50 lbs as needed
