Overview

Lockheed Martin is seeking a full-time Software Engineer in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will be a member of a high-performing team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills. This role requires frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions. Travel for integration and test activities is required. C++/Ada development, Red Hat Linux kernel-level operations knowledge, and hardware/software integration experience are required. Experience with Containers, Cloud Deployment Environment, GitLab / JIRA, and working in an Agile environment is desired. Web service development and Human-Machine interface experience is also desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop software in C++/Ada for embedded and system software in a Linux environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to support integration and testing activities.
• Participate in Agile development processes and manage tasks in GitLab / JIRA.
• Work on web services and human–machine interface projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C++/Ada and Red Hat Linux kernel-level operations.
• Hardware/software integration experience.
• Experience with containers and cloud deployment.
• Familiarity with GitLab / JIRA and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
