Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will work in a high-performing team and be self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills. The role requires effective communication for frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions and may involve travel for integration and test activities. C++/Ada development, Red Hat Linux kernel-level operations, and hardware/software integration experience are required. Experience with Containers, Cloud Deployment, Gitlab, JIRA, and Agile environments is desired. Web service development and Human-Machine Interface experience are also desired.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or other Engineering/Science related discipline
• Experience with programming languages such as C++ and/or Python
• Software development in a Linux-based environment

This position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.
