Software Engineer role at NAOVI. Residency status: ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. Security Clearance: ALL Candidates MUST currently possess an Active TS/SCI w/FS polygraph. Time Type: Full-Time, Daytime Schedule – 100% onsite. Travel Reimbursement: Yes (within a 50-mile radius to the worksite).

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and automate customer workflows and business processes with AI solutions.
  • Apply data structures, data modeling, and software architecture principles to projects.
  • Develop with machine learning tools and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Work with advanced math, probability, statistics, and algorithms in AI/ML contexts.
  • Program in AI/ML languages and environments (Python, Java, C++, Conda, etc.).
  • Train AI models and integrate pre-trained models into dataflows and software architectures.

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing secure AI solutions, particularly with sensitive data.
  • Experience leading AI/ML initiatives and ETL pipelines.
  • Experience deploying solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Active TS/SCI w/FS polygraph security clearance (no sponsorship provided).
  • Ability to complete a matrix template showing experience for each task on the job description.

Required Technologies/Tools

  • Ability to understand and automate customer workflows and business processes with AI solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of ML tools/frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Strong mathematical foundation (probability, statistics, algorithms).
  • AI/ML programming experience (Python, Java, C++, Conda).
  • Experience training AI models and integrating pre-trained models into dataflows and software.

  • Experience implementing secure AI solutions in the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience with highly sensitive data sets and leading AI/ML initiatives.
  • Experience implementing ETL pipelines and AWS-based solutions.

Other Technologies/Tools

  • Experience training machine learning models in varied contexts and data collection methods.
  • Automation of webscraping and related data workflows, including self-healing of scrapes.
  • Automated visual detection in video data and analysis of terms of service.
  • Experience with data collection for sponsor-owned AI/ML systems and models.
  • End-to-end AI systems development including ETL, databases, and human-review processes.
  • Productization and deployment of AI-based systems for collection mechanisms; support to operational elements.
  • R&D in open-source AI/ML technologies; collaboration with stakeholders across sponsor and community.
  • Framing and scaling data problems; analytics storytelling and visualization.
  • Developing scalable and secure AI-enabled software functionality; aligning with business objectives and metrics.
  • Independent technical research in robotics, autonomy, software, and data analysis.
  • Understanding business objectives to develop AI models with measurable impact.
  • Familiarity with NLP, ML, predictive modeling, statistics, and hypothesis testing.
