Gardner Resources Consulting, LLC is hiring: Data Management Business Data Analy

Responsibilities

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst/ Data Analyst at an asset management firm
• Work with internal/external stakeholders to analyze, and define business and functional requirements to build Fixed Income Data Products (example: derivatives)
• Communicate effectively to conduct walkthroughs with development team, QA and stakeholders and write requirements
• Strong SQL skills to conduct Data analysis, including diving into code (Stored Proscs, Java) to understand and extrapolate business logic and document data flows based on data analysis
• Will assist the Product owner by providing input into backlog refinement and sprint planning and helping to refine and validate user stories with clear acceptance criteria

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst/ Data Analyst at an asset management firm
• Strong SQL skills to conduct data analysis and understand data flows (including reviewing code)
• Ability to conduct walkthroughs with development team, QA and stakeholders and write requirements
• Experience assisting Product Owner with backlog refinement and sprint planning and refining user stories with acceptance criteria
