Role Overview

In this role, you will collaborate with Product Management and Business Operations to analyze and develop user stories and a product backlog for multiple products. You will participate in planning and design sessions and provide clarification on product requirements. You will work in partnership with the Product Owner/Manager to define and justify new product developments and projects.

Responsibilities

• Work independently as a liaison between end-users, product management, and development to elicit, analyze, and document user requirements, translating them into user stories.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to ensure the health of the product backlog.
• Take ownership of team ceremonies including grooming, refinement, planning, pre-refinement, and others.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, driving discussion during sprint planning and user story refinement.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify cost-effective solutions that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure design meets customer requirements.
• Provide timely answers to team questions during design, development, and QA testing.
• Create MS SQL queries that retrieve application data and allow identification and triage of discrepancies.
• Field questions from stakeholders/end users during user acceptance testing, identifying potential options to aid resolution.
• Work with business owners and technical architects to set a strategic product direction and scope out project efforts.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis.
• 2+ years of Agile (Scrum or XP) business analysis experience with user stories and backlogs.
• Excellent business requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Experience working with tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar for backlog management and story tracking.
• Experience creating ADO dashboards for tracking project progress and monitoring KPI and metrics.
• Knowledge of SQL/Integration, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), and User Interface (UI) preferred.
• Knowledge of test methodologies preferred.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience working on CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Relevant degree preferred.
