Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly, professional manner.
- Perform secretarial and clerical functions to support clinical staff and department operations.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist with insurance authorization processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and perform data entry into electronic systems.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Front-desk or administrative experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
- MediClear or equivalent healthcare certification required
- Skills:
- Strong computer and data-entry abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to sit for long periods and work with computers.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
- Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and adhere to all safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
