Role Overview
The Marketing Manager plays a key role in shaping the brand’s strategy and execution across all channels. This includes brand positioning, digital marketing, content creation, retail activation, and performance measurement. The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller and a data-driven marketer who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Refine brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to drive consistent communication.
- Create go-to-market strategies for new products and innovations.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, influencer, retail, PR, and events.
- Manage the marketing calendar to ensure seamless campaign execution and product launches.
- Lead digital marketing efforts, including paid social, search, programmatic, and SEO.
- Oversee content strategy and creative production for video, photography, and storytelling initiatives.
- Support growth of direct-to-consumer and e-retail channels through performance marketing and conversion optimization.
- Manage CRM and email marketing programs, including segmentation, automation, and testing.
- Leverage first-party data to create personalized and targeted marketing strategies.
- Define KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness across channels.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Continuously test, iterate, and improve marketing tactics to drive ROI.
- Partner with sales and trade marketing to align retail promotions and in-store activations.
- Collaborate with product development teams to support innovation pipelines and product launches.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and creative partners.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Track spend and performance, adjusting tactics to maximize ROI.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, or health and wellness industries.
- Proven track record of developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong digital marketing expertise, including paid media, CRM, SEO, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Experience in food, beverage, or wellness categories.
- Knowledge of DTC/e-commerce marketing strategies and platforms.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and content production.
- Experience with marketing automation tools such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
- Understanding of sustainability and purpose-driven branding.
