Overview

Electrician role at Pactiv Evergreen Inc. Beech Island, SC. Hiring immediately. Starting pay range: $39.91-$42.13 per hour. Available shift: 3rd shift - 11:00pm to 7:00am (Monday - Friday).

Responsibilities

• Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming and extrusion process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems. Includes performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment. Also includes performing maintenance, set-up and PM on automation equipment.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs/maintains all equipment and machinery including trim presses, extruders, formers, crystallizers, dryers, conveyors, and grinders.
• Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensures housekeeping in areas of responsibility is safe, clean and tidy.
• Follows all company rules, policies and safety regulations.
• Performs Maintenance Connection day-to-day duties.
• Be able to work in all areas of production.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of automation technician experience within the manufacturing industry, or related experience
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading (mechanical/electrical); welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
• Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; knowledge of PLCs is preferred
• Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively
• Ability to work with others effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime
