What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- 1-3 years of HR experience (generalist or related role)
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; UKG experience preferred
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
- Maintain accurate job descriptions and organizational charts
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality
- Support audits and reporting requirements as needed
- Assist with benefits administration (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)
- Coordinate open enrollment and employee benefit inquiries
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy of employee compensation data
- Support the performance review process
- Assist with training and development initiatives
- Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures
