Requisition Title: (Agile1) Business Analyst, Senior

Duration: 12 months

Location: Oakland, CA; hybrid. Assignment is hybrid and required on-site at Oakland office 0-3 days per week on average.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge Article Development
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across departments to gather, analyze, and document business processes and workflows.
  • Translate complex operational procedures into clear, structured knowledge articles suitable for AI consumption.
  • Ensure articles follow metadata, tagging, and formatting standards for AI training and automation platforms.
  • AI & Automation Enablement
  • Partner with AI developers and automation teams to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for process automation.
  • Validate and test knowledge articles in AI environments to ensure accuracy and usability.
  • Continuously refine content based on AI performance feedback and user interactions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with business units to capture tribal knowledge and undocumented processes.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment on knowledge strategy.
  • Governance & Quality Assurance
  • Maintain version control and audit trails for all knowledge assets.
  • Implement quality assurance checks to ensure consistency, relevance, and compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, technical writing, or knowledge management.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, automation platforms (e.g., RPA), and knowledge bases.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with tools like MS Copilot, SharePoint, ServiceNow Knowledge Management, or similar platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
  • Ability to visualize workflows and processes using Visio
  • Demonstrated organizational skills in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects
  • Self-directed, with the ability to anticipate and identify urgent needs
  • Excellent active listening skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and deadlines
