Business Analyst

Maxar has an immediate need for a Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will use your core competencies to identify business needs and align them with our project strategy. You will also leverage your communication skills to inform the Project Team of client needs, develop strategies with Product Owners to support product delivery, and integrate requirements into workflows to ensure timely delivery. A key part of your responsibility will be to deconstruct existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into their component rules for inclusion in a digital Rules Enforcement Framework.

Responsibilities

• Identify business needs and align them with project strategy.
• Inform the Project Team of client needs and develop strategies with Product Owners to support product delivery.
• Integrate requirements into workflows to ensure timely delivery.
• Deconstruct existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into their component rules for inclusion in a digital Rules Enforcement Framework.
• Interface with Intelligence analysts to understand data needs and workflows and generate user stories that capture these requirements for technical teams.
• Support a project that involves working up to 50% on-site at a client SCIF and 50% remote/work-from-home.

Pay and Benefits

In support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings. The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $118,000.00 - $196,000.00 annually. For all other states, market-driven ranges are used based on geographic cost of labor. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health and welfare insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
