Overview
Job Title: IT Depot Warehouse Specialist – Dallas TX
The IT Depot Warehouse Specialist is primarily responsible for working in the Depot location accepting incoming hardware orders, processing and packing orders, counting and scanning hardware inventory, restocking shelves and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. Facilitating software requests, interfacing with other IT groups and assisting other IT functions as needed.
Base pay range: $36,000.00/yr - $68,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- 5-7 Years’ Experience in IT and/or overall inventory management
- Hardware Inventory Management including replenishment practices
- Peripheral Inventory Management including replenishment practices
- Basic hardware knowledge of Dell Laptops and Desktops of various models and equipment compatibility
- Collaborating with IT vendors and Procurement to facilitate processing of hardware and software requests
- Interacting with IT desktop support personnel relating to hardware and software requests
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Exposure to working in a warehouse environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing time and priorities
- Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Maximo is a plus
- Experience with ITSM (IT service management) tools
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel is a plus
- Experience with an asset tracking database
- Experience with imaging laptops and desktops with Windows 10
- Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks based on stakeholder needs
- HIGHLY organized
Job Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., 5+ years’ experience working in a warehouse with computers and handheld scanners)
- 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft products. Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint
- MS Certifications are a plus
- Basic knowledge IT hardware and Apple iOS devices a plus
- Experience working with IT vendors, technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to prioritize and execute
- Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong customer-service orientation with a focus on customer satisfaction
