IT Support Specialist (Tier 1.5) | Launch Your MSP Career

Ready to take your IT support skills to the next level? This isn’t just password resets and printer jams. As an IT Support Specialist (Tier 1.5), you’ll be embedded with clients across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, delivering hands-on support that keeps their businesses running—and building the foundation for your future as an MSP engineer.

You’ll be the front line of IT for some of the region’s most innovative Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) firms. That means real responsibility, variety in your day, and the chance to flex both your technical skills and your people skills. If you’ve been stuck in a helpdesk-only role and want to step up into something bigger, this is it.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the go-to tech at client sites 3–4 days a week—solving issues face-to-face and building trusted relationships.
  • Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and key applications (Microsoft 365, Windows OS, Adobe, Autodesk, Egnyte).
  • Use RMM and PSA tools (Datto RMM, Autotask PSA) to log, track, and resolve tickets.
  • Troubleshoot, escalate when needed, and collaborate with senior engineers to get things done.
  • Handle physical device setups, office tech moves, and on-site fixes.
  • Keep documentation and asset tracking sharp while keeping communication clear with clients and teammates.
  • Represent the team with professionalism, reliability, and a solutions-first mindset.

What’s In It for You

Compensation: $55K–$65K base salary + annual performance bonus

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision + 401(k) with company match

Growth: Paid certification reimbursement and hands-on MSP experience

Culture: Transparency, collaboration, and a team that wants you to succeed

Schedule: 3–4 days/week on-site with clients, 1 day/week at HQ (Dallas)

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Client-facing variety → No boring days stuck behind a queue. You’ll be out in the field, solving real problems.
  • Career progression → Positioned as Tier 1.5, this role bridges helpdesk support and advanced engineering—perfect for someone eager to grow.
  • Supportive culture → Training, mentorship, and a collaborative team invested in your development.
  • Real impact → You’ll directly see the difference you make for clients who depend on reliable IT to run their business.
