Data Analyst
with strong experience in
Microsoft Power BI ,
SQL Server , and
PowerShell scripting , along with working knowledge of
SharePoint administration . This position supports business intelligence, reporting, and collaboration functions for a federal healthcare environment. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Data Analytics & Visualization Design, build, and maintain interactive
Power BI dashboards and reports
that provide real-time insights for stakeholders. Translate business and operational requirements into scalable data models and visualizations. Implement DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and performance tuning for optimal dashboard performance. Manage dataset refresh schedules, gateways, and user access within the Power BI service. Database Management & Querying Develop and execute
SQL Server queries
to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple enterprise systems. Create stored procedures, views, and functions to support reporting and analytics. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security while optimizing database performance. Automation & Scripting Develop
PowerShell scripts
to automate data processing, report distribution, and administrative tasks. Streamline recurring workflows and integrate automation into reporting pipelines. Support IT and BI teams with script-based monitoring, configuration, and deployments. SharePoint Administration Create, configure, and manage
SharePoint sites, document libraries, and lists
to support data sharing and team collaboration. Set permissions, versioning, and workflows that ensure secure and efficient content management. Embed Power BI reports and dashboards into SharePoint Online for organizational access. Coordinate with IT teams on site collection structure, storage quotas, and permissions management. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
— relevant work experience will be considered. Minimum
3 years of experience
in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field. Demonstrated proficiency with
Microsoft Power BI
(data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboards, security, and publishing). Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft SQL Server
for data querying and management. Experience with
PowerShell scripting
to automate tasks and streamline processes. Familiarity with
SharePoint administration , including site creation, permissions, and content structure. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a federal or enterprise environment. Clearance / Eligibility Must be able to obtain and maintain a
Public Trust – Tier III
clearance. Must be a US citizen Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD). Familiarity with Power Automate or other workflow automation tools. Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards in a federal environment. Microsoft certifications
(e.g., PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Data Engineer, or Microsoft 365 Administrator) are
preferred but not required . Prior experience supporting federal healthcare agencies or similar mission-driven organizations is a plus.
