At Snowflake, Product Designers identify opportunities, shape the vision of our products, and ensure we're delivering highly crafted, honed products that our data analysts, data engineers, and data stewards love. As we continue to develop new products and push our existing products forward, we're looking for Designers to redefine the future of working with data, from 0 -> 1. Product Designers at Snowflake work on a variety of surfaces like data visualization, code editors, monitoring and alerting, marketplace experiences, collaboration, and more.
YOUR IMPACT:
Drive a significant, complex, and technical product area forward, shaping vision and owning execution
Delight customers by designing high-quality AI-forward products that deliver meaningful value and protect and govern sensitive data.
Champion user empathy in everything you do, evangelizing partners to do the same
YOUR ROLE:
Identify and drive design opportunities by connecting the dots between user and business needs
Collaborate and effectively influence your engineering and product partners to design and deliver excellent products
Work end-to-end by identifying opportunities, establishing the vision, and working with engineering to deliver high quality, robust solutions
Collaborate with the broader design team to ensure a seamless product experience
Partner with researchers, data scientists, and product managers to drive solutions by leveraging qualitative and quantitative customer insights
Utilize and extend Snowflake's Design System
Develop strong rationale for design decisions, and articulate your perspective
Apply systems thinking to navigate and solve complex problems
Stay abreast of the latest in AI and incorporate the capabilities into the user experience
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
8+ years as a product designer
Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product partners
Experience working with data and technical complexity
End-to-end ownership of meaningful features or surfaces
Your end-user advocacy has shaped product experiences you can point to
Shipped products that have simplified complex workflows
You have iterated on shipped products based on customer usage and feedback
Lead product features or surfaces and balanced long term strategy with short term execution
Experience communicating your ideas both upwards to stakeholders and across to cross-functional team members
Experience designing for both Consumer and Enterprise products
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience in fast-paced environments with quick delivery and iteration cycles
Ability to work autonomously or with engineering partners to get out of mockups faster
Interest in the data space and cutting edge technologies
Experience with web technologies like HTML, Javascript/React, and CSS

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan. The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
