SUMMARY Stampede Ventures, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking a qualified General Maintenance Worker.

This individual will support the 99 Facilities Investment Services Contract in Region 4B5 and provide basic day-to-day maintenance throughout the installations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.

Generator Maintenance General maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as: Painting Carpentry Plumbing Masonry Electrical Work Changing filters and belts in Air Handlers Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, lights Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s) Two (2) years’ experience as a general maintenance worker or similar High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Basic knowledge of general maintenance (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc) Basic knowledge of troubleshooting Good customer service, people skills Preferred • Two Years Experience General Maintenance • DOD Contract Experience NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Lifting and/or moving items weighing 50-75 pounds are required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
