Role: HVAC Project Manager

Location: Manhattan, NY

Salary: $120K - $150K

We are a leading mechanical contractor specializing in large-scale commercial and high-rise projects across Manhattan. With a proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems on time and to the highest quality, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of high-profile projects in the city.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of mechanical construction projects from planning through completion. You will lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure that all work meets safety, quality, and client expectations. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical construction projects
• Manage budgets, contracts, and project documentation
• Oversee subcontractors and coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with local codes/regulations
• Drive project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues proactively
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably with mechanical systems and high-rise projects
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Proficiency with MS Office; project management software experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of New York City construction codes and regulations a plus
