Piping Designer
We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer for an industrial plant design role in Lakeland, FL. This position involves 3D modeling, piping design, and drafting for chemical, petrochemical, and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Plant 3D CAD and have experience developing P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and piping isometrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D modeling of piping and equipment using Plant 3D CAD.
- Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and isometric piping details.
- Produce general arrangement and detailed construction drawings.
- Interface with engineers, construction teams, and suppliers to ensure accurate designs.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (ASTM, ANSI, API, OSHA, PIP, etc.).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of piping design experience in industrial applications.
- Proficiency in Plant 3D CAD (required).
- Experience with 3D scanning and point cloud generation.
- Strong understanding of engineering standards and regulations.
Job Details:
- Location: Lakeland, FL (Commutable from Tampa/Orlando).
- Pay: $45-$50/hr DOE (Potential up to $75/hr for top candidates).
- Term: 6-month Temp-to-Direct opportunity.
- Schedule: 4.5-day workweek (9-hour days, half-day Fridays).
- Overtime: Project-dependent.
- Travel: Occasional site visits (1-2 days).
- Work Attire: Business casual/jeans.
- Work from Home: Not available.
