We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 8am to 5pm. The Neurologist will work closely with a Physiatrist, managing acute and general neurological cases, including assessments for Alzheimer's and ALS, performing injections for migraines, and conducting EMGs and EEGs when indicated. Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with a Physiatrist to assess and manage acute neurological cases
- Perform general neurologic procedures, including injections for migraines
- Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up assessments for conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and ALS
- Perform EMGs (each lasting approximately 1.5 hours) and order EEGs as appropriate
- Prioritize high-quality patient care with a focus on excellent customer service
Additional Information
- Vermont medical license required
- Board certification in Neurology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver outstanding service are essential
