About Bonterms Bonterms solves commercial contracting for the enterprise through Standard Agreements and the Bonterms Platform. We turn contract negotiation from adversarial redlining into collaborative agreement through a two-sided system of trust. Bonterms Standard Agreements are vetted by a 120-lawyer Committee, distributed by Atlassian and Docusign, and have been accessed over 120K times. The Bonterms Platform lets parties send and agree on Standard Agreements in under 20 minutes of total negotiation time (average). Our customers span industries from insurance, aviation and energy to enterprise SaaS and range from startup to global public companies. Bonterms is lawyer-led and backed by Next Coast Ventures, XYZ Capital, and Wilson Sonsini. The Role
Lead and scale enterprise sales for the Bonterms Platform. You’ll own the sales motion, build repeatable systems, and work directly with our CEO (a former GC and law firm partner) to bring Bonterms to the world. Own & Close Deals Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing. Target legal (GC/AGC), procurement, and sales teams. Carry a quota with direct founder access and support. Build & Scale Sales Turn what’s working into repeatable processes, playbooks, and systems. Lay the foundation for the team that follows you. Use your legal expertise to credibly address adoption questions with GCs and legal teams. Partner with product and marketing to refine messaging based on customer insights. Represent Bonterms at conferences and trade shows. Collaborate with our Standard Agreements Committee, distribution partners, and the legal tech ecosystem. What We’re Looking For
Licensed attorney with 2+ years in commercial contracts Strong preference for technology transactions or commercial contracts experience. M&A or corporate law background also valued. In-house or law firm experience. Business experience (strongly preferred) Prior sales, BD, or marketing experience. Enterprise SaaS, AI, or legal tech background is a plus. Born closer You’ve moved stakeholders from skeptical to sold. You quickly assess competing interests and deliver the right message to the right ears across all levels and roles. You’re the person everyone remembers at a conference. Compelling storyteller You help customers picture a better way of working. You use knowledge, trust, and humor to turn skeptics into believers.
