Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
with 7–10 years of experience in advanced electromechanical systems design. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects in motor technologies while contributing to broader mechanical design initiatives. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Lead design initiatives for complex electromechanical systems, with a focus on
stators, rotors, and sensor technologies .
Drive engineering decisions around
winding technologies, magnet materials, lamination methods, insulation systems, and electrical interconnections .
Optimize designs for
electromagnetic performance
while ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Oversee
integration, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
of mechanical and motor systems.
Apply
high-volume manufacturing techniques
to component design and production.
Utilize
PLM systems
for propulsion component design, including BOM structuring and engineering change control.
Perform analysis using
FEA tools
(Ansys, Abaqus, HyperWorks) and support modeling and validation with
MATLAB/Python .
Apply
GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
to ensure precision and quality.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering
(required).
7–10 years of relevant experience in
mechanical/electromechanical
design.
Proficiency in
CAD tools
(CATIA/3DExperience ).
Strong background in
PLM systems , BOM management, and engineering change control.
Skilled in
FEA software
(Ansys, Abaqus, HyperWorks).
Proficient with
MATLAB/Python
for modeling and simulation.
Expertise in
GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis .
Hands-on experience with
integration, assembly, and testing
of complex systems.
Knowledge of
high-volume manufacturing techniques
for mechanical and motor components.
Attributes
Proven ability to
lead engineering decisions
and mentor junior engineers.
Strong problem-solving skills with focus on practical implementation.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
