Local Contract Multimodality Supervisor Status: Full Time Shift: 8 Hour Days JOB SUMMARY The Supervisor Multimodality is accountable for supervising, planning, organizing and improving work processes in the various sections of Radiology Services. This position performs department orientation, teaches, coaches, supervises staff and performs imaging exams in various disciplines such as CT, MR or Rad. The Supervisor also acts as a department liaison in the absence of a manager. Schedules, monitors, evaluates and modifies staffing patterns in order to properly provide services in assigned areas. Interviews, counsels, and completes performance evaluations. Trains new staff and Ensures all registrations and certifications are current, on file and up to date. Partners with the management team and staff to conduct multidisciplinary staff meetings to ensure consistent and timely communication throughout the department. Able to make tactical conclusions around the allocation and direction of the work of supervised employees using established guidelines, policies and/or procedures. Able to make effective hiring and termination recommendations. Able to train, and evaluate performance of supervised staff. General computer skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic medical documentation, and email. Able to take call, if required.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program - EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience - CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - - MUST CURRENTLY BE REGESTERED IN MRI AND CT Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in TWO imaging modalities and work 25% of the time in the second modality. Approved modalities are: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-CV, ARRT-M, ARRT-MR, ARRT-N, ARRT-S, ARRT-VI, ARRT-BS, ARRT-BD, ARRT-CI, RDMS-AB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-FE, RDMS-OB, RDMS-PS, RVT, CNMT or ARMRIT.
