This position involves designing, developing, maintaining, and modifying code for Connected Car Applications. The role requires collaborating with the product owner, scrum master, solution architect, technical analysts, and third-party app developers to guide the scrum team through all aspects of Connected Car Application delivery, from requirements to deployment and operation. Responsibilities include: Designing and developing Java software modules using Java/JEE and database technologies. Technically designing and developing new features for the Connected Car product. Working with web back-end and front-end developers to develop, maintain, and support websites. Translating feature specifications into high-quality, timely deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Providing technical guidance to the engineering team and vendors. Gathering requirements and translating them into functional solutions, evaluating feasibility, and estimating efforts. Creating clean, tested, and refactored code. Establishing development environments and guidelines. Researching new technologies and recommending improvements. Preparing detailed specifications for development, testing, and debugging. Developing RESTful web services supporting high-volume transactions. Analyzing requirements, creating test plans, and supporting testing activities. Supporting vendor development efforts and coordinating with teams. Identifying and managing production issues and risks. Engaging in troubleshooting and providing solutions during testing. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience. 7+ years in development, design, and architecture with Java, J2EE, and .NET technologies. 5+ years experience with Java, J2EE, Spring framework. 3+ years developing public-facing distributed applications. Experience with J2EE technologies like Spring, iBATIS, Web Services, SOAP, MVC, JSP, Servlets. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). Knowledge of internet operation principles and packet data protocols. Basic experience in developing mobile applications for iOS and Android. Proficiency in deploying on J2EE servers like JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat. Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, including complex queries and tuning. Experience in Unix and Linux environments. Experience in multi-vendor technical projects, billing systems, and payment gateways. Understanding of invoicing, taxation, discounts, and subscription management. Knowledge of ESB technologies (e.g., Apache Camel, Mule ESB, ActiveMQ) is a plus. Experience with data persistence and distributed frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, HBase, NoSQL is a plus. Experience with application security testing tools is a plus. Experience developing M2M systems in healthcare, automotive, or similar sectors is a plus. Preferred and Nice-to-Have: Connected Car or IoT experience. Experience with predictive modeling, large datasets, and AI solutions. Experience with cloud platforms, AWS, GCP, and related certifications.
