This position involves designing, developing, maintaining, and modifying code for Connected Car Applications. You will collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, solution architects, technical analysts, and third-party app developers to guide the scrum team through all phases of Connected Car Application delivery, from requirements to deployment and operation. Essential Functions: Design and develop Java software modules using Java/JEE and database technologies. Work with web back-end and front-end developers to develop, maintain, and support websites. Translate feature specifications into high-quality, timely deliverables. Provide technical solutions and guidance to the engineering team and vendors. Gather and evaluate requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and estimating effort. Create clean, unit-tested, and refactored code. Establish development environments and guidelines. Research and recommend new technologies and architectural improvements. Prepare detailed specifications for development and testing. Design, develop, and maintain web applications. Collaborate on UI/UX design, optimize application speed and scalability, and ensure technical feasibility. Analyze requirements, clarify dependencies, create test plans, and support testing activities. Support vendor development efforts and coordinate activities. Identify and address production issues and risks. This job description may change at any time with or without notice. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, .NET, and database technologies. 5+ years of experience in iOS mobile application development. 5+ years of experience in web application development. 2+ years of experience specifically in Java and J2EE. Expertise in Swift and Objective-C. Portfolio of released applications on app stores. Knowledge of programming languages such as Swift, Java, React Native, or Flutter. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). Experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, including complex queries and optimization. Experience in Unix and Linux environments. Experience working on multi-vendor projects and mobile web development. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. Preferred and Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Git and version control systems. Knowledge of web accessibility standards. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
