We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Network Engineer to configure, support, and maintain a sophisticated enterprise and/or industrial network infrastructure. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of our network systems across corporate, SCADA, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco technologies, advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols, and a proactive approach to network monitoring and troubleshooting. This is a hands-on engineering role with cross-functional collaboration across security, operations, and cloud teams. Key Responsibilities Maintain and configure enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Design, implement, and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols: STP, VLANs, Trunking, EtherChannel, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP. Manage network segmentation, VPNs (IPSec), ACLs, AAA, 802.1x authentication, and VRFs. Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, DNAC, and ThousandEyes. Support network security platforms including Cisco ISE, Palo Alto Panorama, SNMP, and Syslog. Integrate and maintain monitoring and incident response systems such as ServiceNow, Splunk, Jira, and SNOW. Provide specialized support for industrial networking, SCADA, and automation systems. Collaborate with Identity & Access Management, Cloud, and NOC teams to ensure cohesive network operations. Maintain documentation, update network diagrams, and adhere to change management protocols. Preferred Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on experience as a network engineer supporting enterprise and industrial environments. Cisco CCNP certification (required); additional certifications such as CCNA, CCDP, CCVP, JNCIA, or CompTIA Linux+ are highly desirable. Knowledge of cloud networking architectures (AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate preferred). Proficiency with tools such as OpenGear, BlueCat, New Relic, and Nagios. Prior leadership or mentoring experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or related environments is a strong plus.
