About the role We are seeking a talented Engineering Manager to lead our Business Intelligence team at AppFolio. This role involves managing a team of engineers responsible for building scalable data solutions, dashboards, and visualizations that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities Lead and develop the Business Intelligence engineering team. Design and implement scalable data pipelines and reporting systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights. Promote best practices in data management, visualization, and software development. Ensure high-quality, reliable, and performant BI solutions. Qualifications Proven experience in leading BI or data engineering teams. Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data platforms. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience with cloud data services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this role is $167,200 - $209,000, based on experience and skills. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
