Description
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Document Control Coordinator is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and organizing compliance documentation from various sources, and distributing relevant documents and information to customers and suppliers. This position is a full-time, at-will, hourly non-exempt role.
Key Responsibilities:
•Respond to documentation requests from customers related to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
•Prepare, organize, and maintain internal technical and compliance documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and ongoing regulatory readiness
•Maintain and update supplier and product data in food safety and compliance management software portal, and fulfill related documentation requests submitted through customer portals
•Track and update supplier approval documentation to ensure ongoing compliance
•Collect, review and evaluate, and input product Certificates of Analysis and vendor compliance data into internal enterprise resource management system
•Provide hands-on support driving execution of projects related to food safety, quality, and regulatory documentation, including managing tasks, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
•Participate in departmental meetings, cross-functional initiatives, and special projects as assigned
•Perform other duties as required
Requirements
Qualifications:
•2+ years of experience in food manufacturing or a related regulatory compliance environment
•High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
•Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business systems and software platforms
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
•Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
•Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
Physical Requirements:
•Repetitive movement using keyboard
•Able to regularly work on-site in an office environment, and occasionally in a food manufacturing environment, including low-temperature cold storage warehouse facility.
