Position: Mid Modeling and Simulation Engineer (Nuclear Weapons Effects)

Description:

  • Designs, develops, and conducts simulations against hard targets, missiles, and other intelligence gaps, supporting wargaming exercises in a simulated environment.
  • Defines, implements, validates, and tests M&S architecture.
  • Interacts with users to define and optimize new M&S functionalities for applications.
  • Develops and visualizes operational concepts, performs M&S and data analysis to refine, demonstrate, and assess these concepts.
  • Models and analyzes nuclear weapons effects based on experience and expertise.

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI clearance required, with the ability to obtain CI POLY.

Job Requirements

Desired experience:

  • At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience, with some within the last 2 years.

Desired education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, totaling 12 years of experience.

Location:

  • Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington, DC.
