Position: Sr. Human Resources Business Partner

Description:

The Sr. HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner and primary contact for their designated Business Units and leadership. This role involves designing and implementing programs to support Children's National Hospital in becoming an "Employer of Choice," thereby enhancing employee engagement, performance, and retention.

The Sr. HRBP will act as the HR liaison, providing strategic guidance, coordination, and management of HR functions. They will deliver proactive solutions in employee engagement, workforce planning, risk mitigation, and issue resolution, escalating issues to HR Centers of Excellence or HRBP leadership as needed.

Responsibilities include preparing HR metrics summaries, analyzing trends such as turnover and vacancy rates, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. The role requires maintaining best employment practices and consistent policy application.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (relevant experience may substitute).
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Healthcare or hospital experience is preferred.
