Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Procedure Technologist to join our dynamic Imaging Services team. This role involves performing complex diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including angiography and venography, utilizing specialized equipment. Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment, Epic EHR, and ChangeHealthcare PACS is highly preferred. The technologist will be responsible for patient preparation and positioning, equipment operation and maintenance, contrast media administration, patient monitoring, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Perform complex diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients for procedures.
Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment.
Administer contrast media and monitor patients during procedures.
Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate effectively with other medical staff and work independently.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (VI) or (CI) certifications.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Experience with Epic EHR and ChangeHealthcare PACS is preferred.
