About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Robotics Controls Engineer to join a team developing next-generation surgical robotics technology. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced control systems and motion planning algorithms to drive high-performance robotic platforms used in precision surgery.

Responsibilities
Develop and optimize real-time controls and motion planning for robotic systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, ML, and clinical) to integrate robotic controls with broader system architecture
Implement algorithms for low-latency, high-accuracy planning and execution
Contribute to the design of intuitive surgeon-facing user interfaces
Support the integration of computer vision for anatomical landmark detection
Qualifications
Proficiency in C++ and Python
Strong background in control systems and software development
Experience in robotics engineering; exposure to autonomous vehicles or surgical robotics is a plus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in teams
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
Nice to Have
Knowledge of surgical robotic systems
Experience with computer vision and / or ML integration in robotics
