In 2019, we secured a $6MM contract with the US Department of Defense SOCOM to develop ketone nutritional superfuel. Trusted by high performers including Olympic athletes, Tour de France cyclists, Navy SEALs, and athletes across major US sports leagues, we are now expanding access to everyone.

Ketone-IQ represents High Performance Energy. We’re transforming how people fuel their bodies and leading the ketone movement. We’re hiring a Growth Manager to own and scale our Amazon channel. This role is for a high-ownership operator fluent in growth strategies, incrementality, and performance systems. Responsibilities include managing Amazon paid ads, CRO, Buy Box protection, and keyword ranking.

Who you are:

The ideal candidate is obsessed with proving incrementality, maximizing conversion rates, and protecting brand equity. You will collaborate with Creative, Ops, and Finance teams, reporting directly to the CMO. This high-visibility role offers access to pricing decisions and potential expansion into new growth channels beyond Amazon.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the full Amazon performance acquisition lifecycle, including prospecting, branded campaigns, retargeting, and reviews.
  • Maintain 90%+ Buy Box ownership with proactive protection tactics.
  • Manage SKU strategy on Amazon, including catalog management, pack size testing, and new product launches.
  • Test emerging ad formats such as Sponsored Brand Video, DSP, Posts, and CTV.
  • Collaborate with the CMO to evaluate new channel extensions like retail, OOH, and third-party platforms.

Ads & Incrementality

  • Manage the entire Amazon ad stack: budgeting, campaign structure, and reporting.
  • Lead incrementality testing, including geo holdouts, suppression, and survey lift.
  • Partner with the DTC team on spend pacing, CAC alignment, and attribution.
  • Monitor ASIN health and keyword rankings.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Audit and optimize product listings (titles, bullets, gallery, A+ content).
  • Manage Premium A+ content and branded store design.
  • Monitor PDP CVR and run systematic CRO experiments.

Operational & Legal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Finance on inventory and demand forecasting.
  • Work with Legal on reseller takedowns and MAP enforcement.
  • Guide catalog and SKU expansion efforts.

Success Metrics:

  • Maintain 90%+ Buy Box retention.
  • Achieve CAC efficiency across branded and prospecting campaigns.
  • Improve PDP CVR and rank in the top 5 for priority search terms.
  • Execute at least two incrementality tests within the first 90 days.
  • Demonstrate Amazon as an incremental layer to DTC sales.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven Amazon operators with P&L accountability, OR
  • Proven ownership of large-scale Amazon ad budgets ($500K+/month) with CAC/nCAC accountability.
  • Elite generalists or consultants (e.g., MBA, top-tier consulting background) preferred.
