Overview
Key Account Manager - Amazon. Hybrid. New York City.
AKT (pronounced "act") is The Personal Performance Company with multi award-winning body care. This role is brand-new and reports into the SVP Global Sales, owning and expanding AKT London's Amazon business across global marketplaces to drive sales, safeguard brand equity, and ensure operational excellence while scaling premium presence and profitability. External interactions include Amazon account teams, third-party agencies, and operational partners. Travel is required twice annually to AKT offices and industry events.
Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Commercial Management: Deliver the revenue and profit targets for Amazon through strategic planning, forecasting, and P&L ownership
- Marketplace Operations: Oversee and optimise day-to-day operations in Seller/Vendor Central including stock, listings, ASINs, and compliance
- Advertising & Promotions: Drive effective Amazon Advertising campaigns and promotional strategy to meet growth KPIs (ACOS, ROAS, TACOS, etc.)
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain AKT\'s brand image across Amazon through optimized content, A+ assets, and Storefront execution
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance to ensure seamless execution and reporting
- Data & Insight: Analyse performance metrics and customer behaviour to recommend actionable improvements and future growth opportunities
- Global Expansion: Support Amazon marketplace expansion to new territories aligned with commercial goals
- Risk Management: Monitor for unauthorised sellers and ensure compliance with MAP and other pricing policies
About You
- Proven experience managing an Amazon business, preferably in beauty, wellness, or premium FMCG
- Deep knowledge of Seller/Vendor Central, Amazon Advertising, and analytics platforms
- Experience of the application of robust commercial acumen and experience owning a P&L
- Knowledge and understanding of Amazon algorithms, customer journeys, and best practices for DTC brands
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to align brand, marketing, and operations
- Experience of the application of excellent communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge and familiarity with Amazon tools (e.g., Perpetua, Pacvue, Helium10)
- Experience with MAP monitoring, brand registry, and grey market seller control
- Knowledge of international marketplace expansion strategy
