Key job responsibilities
- Provide strategic account engagement that helps customers implement solutions addressing industry-specific procurement challenges.
- Possess a strong executive presence and effectively communicate and collaborate with senior leadership and executive stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Deliver accurate weekly reports on pipeline and customer spend adoption, including account status updates and insights from deployments.
- Drive and accelerate spend adoption by advising customers on best practices for using Amazon Business solutions.
- Focus on automating service needs for customers, collaborating with Product and Technical teams to develop solutions that increase adoption.
- Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams, including Product, Technical, and Category Management teams.
About The Team
The Amazon Business Manufacturing & Industrials team develops solutions including an expanded online store tailored to enterprise customers in the Manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience selling to Manufacturing customers, engaging multiple stakeholders including C-Suite leaders through a consultative sales approach, and a proven record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of B2B and/or Enterprise sales experience
- Proven track record of owning the entire sales cycle from identification to closing opportunities
- Experience in positioning and selling solutions to new and existing customers across various segments
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of sales experience selling to Fortune 1000 senior leadership
- Experience selling to procurement and supply chain roles
- Expertise in MS Office, CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), and other systems
- Experience leading customer meetings, product demos, or trainings
- Track record of managing a strategic customer portfolio valued between $500M-$5B
