Meador Staffing Services is hiring: Warehouse in Houston

The Pasadena branch of Meador Staffing has partnered with a local company to add a Loader to their team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Material Verification and Documentation:
2. Visual Inspection.
3. Markings on the shipment match what is written on the Pick Ticket.
4. Identify non-conformances and notify department leads and shipping supervisor.
5. Ensure designated equipment is in proper working condition (forklifts, pickers, crane, hand tools, etc.).
6. Effectively communicate with department supervisors.
7. Visually inspect all material to identify any non-conformances.
8. Ensure all material is protected from potential damage that could occur during transit.
9. Package material securely.
10. Utilize Pick Ticket information to accurately verify and record information on shrink-wrapped pallets.
11. Properly match shipments to the loading forms ensuring vehicles are loaded with the correct material.
12. Photograph loaded product (photo verification).
13. Properly fill out information required on pick ticket and accompanying forms.
14. Attend safety meetings to identify departmental issues and discuss ways to correct them.
15. Identify areas of improvement while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
16. Duties are not limited to those described above and may be expanded as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Speak and read English. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
2. 1+ years PVF industry experience.
3. Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts, and tables.
4. High school diploma or GED.
5. Basic computer skills. Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
6. Ability to drive a forklift and secure certification.
7. Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
8. Capable of lifting 50 lbs. with back support.

SCHEDULE

Mon - Fri 9:00am - 7:00pm

PAY

$16-$18/hour
