Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour on W-2 basis
Base pay range

Job Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients of all ages.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the collection process.
- Accurately label specimens and complete requisition forms.
- Adhere to standardized procedures for waived testing, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
- Properly handle and store specimens to maintain sample integrity.
- Follow protocols for specimen transport and disposal.
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as directed by healthcare providers.
- Apply electrodes and monitor patients during the procedure to ensure quality tracings.
- Prepare and verify manifests for specimens being sent to external laboratories or for transportation purposes.
Job Requirements
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment; able to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
- Superior customer focus with ability to communicate openly with peers, supervisors, and patients; ability to adapt to change; and knowledge of the business.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience required.
