We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Additionally, opportunities for continuous growth within the organization will be provided.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm (8-hour shift within this timeframe)
Work Location: Knoxville, TN
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Accurately and promptly enter patient information into the system
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain logs of patient and specimen information
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites as needed
- Collect samples from pediatric and adult patients
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency, or previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which offers quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics.
