Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II - Float at Fayetteville, GA. This is a 2 months contract role with a high possibility of extension or conversion, offering an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic environment.

Base pay range: $18.80/hr - $21.30/hr

Details

  • Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Hours per Week: 40 hours
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay Highlights: $18.80 - 21.30/hour (Based on years of experience)
  • Location: Fayetteville, GA
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Mileage reimbursement: Available for travel between sites

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and skillful blood collection, including pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical specimens.
  • Provide coverage at multiple Patient Service Centers (PSC) and In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) sites.
  • Verify patient demographics, initials, and signatures post-venipuncture to confirm accuracy of specimen labeling.
  • Maintain required records, documentation, and compliance with company policies.
  • Create a safe, professional, and positive environment for patients and staff.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to patient confidentiality.
  • Adapt to changing work schedules, travel between locations, and provide coverage with minimal notice.
  • Serve as a strong customer service representative, promoting organizational commitment and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
